seriously though good get. i like that the HD300 has a preout. but nate tells me I don't want my HA-2 to have a pre-out. i must needs to acquire a digital source with variable outs.

It is a good deal. I will try it as a preamp if I ever get my power amp back from being repaired. Hopefully that will be pretty soon. I think I would have preferred an HD-25 but I liked this one with my Senn's so I will use it with my 650's until the 800's arrive.
