jose 1,637
This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end Of our elaborate plans, the end Of everything that stands, the end No safety or surprise, the end I'll never look into your eyes again Can you picture what will be So limitless and free Desperately in need of some stranger's hand In a desperate land? I love the guitar intro.... in "Apocalipsis Now" It is a work of art Edited January 20 by jose

HiWire 999
I didn't even know the album was coming until I randomly saw it on the front page of AllMusic. A happy surprise to start 2021!

Dusty Chalk 8,571
Liked adult. when I first discovered them many years ago during the electroclash movement, kinda lost track of them though, will have to catch up with them. Me, right now: Cardiacs (catalog got released on streaming services) Definitely Dustycore (a term coined by a friend on Discord to group all musicks I like) — ska & new-wave influences, stilted rhythms, theatricality, demented intervals in the melodies, just loads of fun
Knuckledragger 3,837
Man, Adult. brings me back to the early 00s and dawn of SoulSeek. I totally missed 2000's Nausea, but I was there for Resuscitation and Anxiety Always. The latter was a big enough release that we got some promo material at WAMH (it's worth noting that I was also heavily involved with WAMH in the early 2000s.) Initially I didn't like Anxiety Always at all, especially after how much I enjoyed Resuscitation. I should revisit it as it's been more than 15 years since I gave it a proper listen.

Quality folk-rock. Big Thief - Masterpiece The song "Not" by Big Thief is a classic earworm with a tremendous delivery. It's on a later album, Two Hands, if you've not yet branched out. 6 hours ago, recstar24 said: Ugh I’m entering the old dad phase of my listening habits nowadays Great album, but you have to fight that impulse.
