Getting ready to leave for the airport, and become a Californian!

You're going to have to try harder in california. What counts as gay in texas is merely metrosexual in california.

What are you saying, he's basically in the closet in California?

Aye keed, aye keed.

Steve, I love that you're going into this with your head held high...

...and your other head held even higher.

I don't think Steve would have any trouble answering this question.

Nice!

I guess Sacramento is considered part of California...

Welcome home Steve!

Woot.  Off on a new life adventure.  Enjoy the ride Steve!

Welcome back to the land of milk and honey(s) Steve!

I hope it's all smooth sailing from here on out!

Yay, Steve!  Happy homecoming, indeed.

Nate ... Pine Point is great - I am right around the other side of Prout's Neck from you at Higgins Beach.  So, did you treat the kids to the rides at Old Orchard?  Did you get fish and lobster at the fisherman's co-op there in Pine Point on the marsh side?  Clams at Ken's and ice cream at Beals?

Welcome to California Steve!  As you know in California we hug trees rather than make them into headphone stands.  ;)

Grats on the move to Cali :D  Best wishes to you on Cali being a wonderful new place to call home!

Thanks all!!!

Today I did some shopping here in Elk Grove...towels, toiletries, etc...

Opened a bank account, and ate the first good bagel I've had in 12 years. Had lunch at the Apple Sacramento campus (it's really in Elk Grove), got Shaun's oil changed and his dog groomed (no, that's not gay code for anything else), unpacked, did a load of laundry (that might be code), and generally had a great day!

Tonight Shaun and I will run into Sacramento for some bedding stuffs.

Tomorrow will hopefully be the safe arrival of Susie, weather permitting (no transporting animals if over 85 degrees). If the temperature in Dallas cooperates, I should see her before noon.

P.S. Your kids are adorable Nate!

So glad you are now in Sacramento and getting settled, Steve.  Hope Susie makes it there tomorrow.  Thanks for the updates, and how was that Apple caf lunch?
