So it's that time of year once again where I call upon the incredible generosity and support of this community to help me raise money for the Kelly Brush Foundation. So I put up my cellphone for sale on craigslist and these lowball offers are just pissing me off. My asking price is $350 and people are emailing me with $250 and even $150! I want to tell them to just go fuck themselves, but may be I should waste some of their time as payback? What do YOU usually do in these situations?

To expand on Steve's idea, how about we all post the first HF rigs we had as a small trip down memory lane. Guess I'll get the ball rolling... My first HF rig (and prior to me knowing about all these crazy people and their headphones) was just a HD600 plugged into an old Kenwood integrated amp (headphone socket fed via resistors from the main amp) but since it isn't electrostatic it doesn't really count in my case. Hello All! I finally got fed up with the thought police over at Head-Fi, so I posted a farewell message saying goodbye and a little on why I was leaving. Nothing defamatory, just saying that I could not tolerate the moderators arbitrary enforcement of the rules and their deleting things just because they could. I then logged off. I went back to read any responses to my farewell (as a guest), and the f----ers deleted my farewell message. Oh?well. So here I am. I?ll see how things go here.
