I am trying to pay for something and I enter the persons email address and then it red it says Email Address: Please enter a valid address in the format [email protected]. Ok this happened to me 3 days ago with someone else who also has a valid email address and after 2 days of trying it magically went through (this person is a verified member of paypal). Now it is happening again and customer service is no help. Any thoughts? Should I ask the person to request the money from me? the person I am buying from sent me another address to use and that did not work either!

Here's the deal: Many of you know I've been looking for work for a good while. This company (Liberty National Insurance) has been recruiting in my area, and the spiel is enticing. Follow the plan, do the legwork, work hard, get well compensated. I've read pros and cons about this place (not unlike many/most places out there), and it's obvious some people can't hack it, and some don't get good trainers, and it just doesn't work for everyone, and that's fine. A roommate of mine died a few years ago and everyone his family has taken all that they want to remember him by and while cleaning out the garage I found this guitar. I contacted his parents and they said that I could keep it for cleaning out all of his stuff. Hofner made a ton of hollow bodied electric guitars and I can't find this specific model. The only lettering I can find is Hofn and 1946, Berlin. The back has the serial number nv0550 andd the date 2-10-49. can you guys help me out?

Trying to get a definitive answer to settle an argument. When I strip down my guns for cleaning the last thing I usually do is take a clean patch, put a little oil on it and run it down the bore. Have done this all of my life. A friend of mine said (and he's only gotten into shooting in the last year) that having a coat of oil in the barrel is a bad idea. Anyone have an opinion on this? I would find it hard to believe it would be an issue... let alone I imagine after the first shot quite a bit of it is burned off. Is there some newfangled thought process I haven't heard of? Probably a good question for Old Pa.
