Anyone else watching the draft today? I was thrilled that Mendenhall fell all the way down to the Steelers at #23 I think he'll be a perfect fit.

Anyone who hasnt seen this documentary on Ali should find when its playing and check it out. The best sports documentary I've seen. It was on Spike TV a couple days ago and will probably run again.

I'm watching the high quality stream online (all the streaming is via silverlight) and I'm extremely impressed with the quality. It's probably the best quality stream I've ever seen. Now I just have to keep an eye out for some good games

Anything interesting here, or same old, same old? Fun to see the Bulls doing so well and the emergence of Derrick Rose as a prime time player. My brother and his boys were at the game today in Chicago to witness a 16-1 run by the Bulls in the last 2 and a half minutes of the game to pull it off. Not counting on much though. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Lakers and Celtics in the finals, as usual.

Damn, I love hockey. Even more when the Canadiens are winning like this season. Seriously, I think no other sport beats hockey on television. Fast action, solid physical contacts, intelligent plays, etc. I don't understand why you Americans don't love it as we do in Canada. Football rules, but why the hell is baseball more popular than hockey? Watching baseball on TV is as exciting as watching plants grow... So, any hockey fans out there?

Just wondering if there're any Red Sox fans here? So far so good, though I hope Coco will come back quickly from the injury. I like how Beckett has done to this point and let's hope his chronic blister problem doesn't surface this year.

Never did like the guy but if this turns out to be true, you almost have to feel sorry for the guy. Several media outlets reported him having "an alergic reaction" to the pain medication he'd been taking. Why it took almost a week for that to occur is a bit suspect in and of itself. Now media reports are breaking that T.O. tried to commit suicide. Fox News was first IIRC and now the others are also breaking this. Sad.

I have an extra lower preferred ticket to the caps vs the canes in dc saturday if anyone wants to go.

I don't know if anyone is into watching motor sports here but the F1 season starts this weekend at "Bahrain", circuit "Sakhir". I'm interested to see if McLaren/Mercedes will still have the fasts car again this year but suck on reliability as they did last year. But renult looks to be up there in speed again as seen in test sessions. If you havn't watched it give it whirl because it is the pinnacle of motor sports (truly high tech).
