What's in da baaaahhhhhxxxxx? Some parts. Darker blue than we thought. Happiest kid in the world in this moment. **BRENT**

  • Liked the Turbo Vado Super Light so much, I bought another one in Michigan. Same silver and black. We couldn't find Claire an SL in Northern Michigan or online so we got her the  regular Turbo Vado 5.

  • I bought an e-bike. Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 Super Light 2022 edition. Claire got a 4.0 step-through.

Broken clavicle and broken promise of morphine

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry Justin, that sucks :( Keep us posted on what treatment they're giving you.

That does not look good, surgery?

Ouch, hope that heals quickly.

On Saturday I rode Squirt about 85miles. Strava seems to do some funky corner smoothing. Fuckers.

I had planned for 100miles (WTF was I thinking?) but (thankfully) the ride out to the farthest part of Jones Beach was basically a highway with no shoulder so I was forced to turn around. At 85miles with about 5miles left to get back to Nechama's place my GPS died and I decided it was a very good time to stop.

Justin really sorry to hear about the broken clavicle hope they hook you up with a decent painkiller

Ari wow great ride

You are going to ride the tires off that little bike Ari.  Is it coming to Florida in December?

Justin. Very sorry for your crash and burn, and subsequent nasty bone crunching. Hoping for a quick and uncomplicated recovery.

So does this mean people will have to wait even longer for their BHSE's now? :)

Ouch X4.

And...

Hoping for a quick and uncomplicated recovery X2.

x2

Hope the drugs help the pain.  Morphine usually is effective. :)

Sorry to hear it, Justin. Good luck with the recovery!

thanks, on the plus side i PRed the trail loop at 23:00, from about 26 before. with all the leaves and a very crowded day of hikers, so that's not too bad. it was reversing the direction and going clockwise that i got hit. according to strava, i was only going about 10mph at the crash and the decline was either -10% or -18%. not sure if the -18% was the bike tipping over or part of the trail.

So does this mean people will have to wait even longer for their BHSE's now? :)

i doubt it, i will just have to use my help for this stuff rather than working on parts for a year out

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that nasty crash and bone crush Justin. Here is hoping for the fastest recovery.

does it come in tricycle form? if anyone wants to ride tandem in florida let me know   i have to find out if 1 month is enough time for a leisurely road ride

for now, i'm thinking the kinetic rock n roll trainer with no hands -- if that works -- might be the way to go
