January 9, 20188 yr The perspicacious would opt for perspex........ I can just see the aftermarket crowd going wild with this one...... Besides the usual plethora of aftermarket cables, there will be:- Coloware will have a range of colored covers.... There will be a plethora of different wood covers. Edstrelow will have a pattern of sorbothane to make these Stax killers The Hifiman HE-6 crowd will break out different felt fazor mods. Anaxilus will have 3 different mods to get rid of the echo chamber cavern effect... The newest mod will be to coat the inside of the covers with teflon to make sure even the sound doesn't stick... etc, etc, ad hoc, ad addendum, ad astra. ad nauseum...........................
January 9, 20188 yr Looking forward to hearing these. I'm not really a closed-back fan, but hopefully these will show up at a bay area meet sometime this year.
January 9, 20188 yr "... astonishingly transparent sound, thanks to a unique glass transducer cover..."
January 9, 20188 yr I wonder how long it will before those covers are replaced with the bottoms of coke bottles for a sweeter and darker sound.....

January 9, 20188 yr Is that a golf stick? We're living the times of the wealthy morons who don't know how to spend their money. And the weather keeps improving by the day

It is used by soccer moms to convert A cups to double D cups.

January 10, 20188 yr 6 hours ago, wink said: It's as sonically clear as glass........ No, I meant reflective, and I meant the gel like material. Glass has a very hard reflective surface, acoustically, hence Marc’s comment, but I imagine gel would be a little better, like putty.
January 10, 20188 yr I think you're referring to Aerogel. Excellent insulation capabilities, ultralight, and mostly made of air?
