If I could predict stocks like futbol, I would be living like the beard, which I am not. Prediction for finals is : Belgium/England; I really think the extra time games are going to take a toll on Croatia. I actually think any of these four teams to could make it to the finals. This has been an awesome World Cup.

I recall reading about Bloodhound a few years ago. The technology and expense in the wheels alone was impressive to say the least. Yeah...the numbers are interesting but like comparing an apple to a donut. They're both tasty but they're not the same. To be honest, the Lamborghini is not my thing. I've seen some similar audi's that were a bit more to my liking (Underground builds them as well...a lot of common components with the Lambo's). What I would argue is that having a car that can go that fast and still be street legal is pretty nifty. I'm a car nerd ?️ HS

That is an impressive car. A bit insane to drive by the look of it. But this would see that car left for dead. Bloodhound SSC. This is the 7 ton beast going from 0 to 200mph in 8 seconds. Just using the jet engine and rubber tyres. I was there - it was bloody impressive. Next year, 500mph then on to 1000mph with addition of rockets. On the Hanskeen pan in South Africa. Performance figures. 0-500mph in 38 seconds using the Eurofighter jet engine, then after the rockets are operating 500 - 1000mph in 17 seconds.

Started to change my music files from compressed formats to Wav. Nothing changed from computer but music player run more smooth while playing wav compared to compressed formats. Also changing foldering format too. Damn I'm bored...

Today, I have been eating mostly, Burgers!

So yesterday I had to go to Home Depot in Colma (the burbs), and passed a Sizzler restaurant. I didn't even know they were still around! Last time I ate at Sizzler was when I was 17, and my buddy worked there (so naturally he fed me for free). I thought what the hell, pulled in and saw that Malibu Chicken had survived their menu for the last 40 years, so that's what I ordered. The young man informed me that if I was 55 or older I could get the senior plate of said Malibu Chicken. "As a matter of fact" says I... So for a paltry $11.00 I had said Chicken, baked potato, Texas toast and a large salad. That also included the soda fountain. Better than memory, and I left full and happy. Waiter's eyes gleamed at my $5 tip. Oh the simple things!

Went to check out a car show at the local Car Condos facility. Pretty nice place.

Yep. We have high winds tonight too, a phenomenon called a "sun downer". And, of course, we just had a house file that has become a vegetation fire not 3 miles from me. The fire is to the NNW of me and fortunately the winds are NE (from the NE blowing SW. So I'm probably in OK shape. There have been mandatory evacuations near the fire.
