February 10, 201016 yr comment_324635 9.5 inches overnight. Maybe another inch today. Wife's a school teacher and has a snow day with school closed. I think teachers get more giddy about snow days than their students. I, of course, will be going to work. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324647 Really coming down here and blowing now. Upgraded to Blizzard Warning...and work is open for business. To be expected I suppose, but I found out that the procedure for deciding whether or not to close is made by the Senior Executive actually in the office on the day of the inclement weather. So, in other words, basically the person who lives closest and had the easiest time getting in makes the decision. Report
February 10, 201016 yr Author comment_324651 Nothing here yet, though my work (private SPED school) is having an early dismissal, which hopefully means I'll get to go home a bit early. I just checked and the snow accumulation forecast in my area was downgraded. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324653 Once again we're not supposed to get squat up here, 1-3 inches. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324654 Coming down like mad and very windy here. Pretty good white out conditions as of right now. Report

February 10, 201016 yr comment_324692 The snow is going horizontal, briefly interrupted by clouds of the stuff flying off the roof. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324694 In the lower right hand corner, my car is there. It was parked on 4" of snow after the driveway had been clear yesterday. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324696 I'd say it's damn well into blizzard territory here. I'm surprised my power hasn't gone out yet. Yeah, not going outside to shovel. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324701 The large snowfall amount has led to some opportunities. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324713 Not too bad here in upstate NY Enought to cancel classes tho! Whoooo Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324763 cleared. WTF would happen if there was a fire or other emergency on the street? Are they going to park up the street and watch someone's house burn? well, if that person just took one for the team, it would probably help clear the street pretty damn quickly, ya know, being a fire and all. Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324786 Its coming down here in Reading now, but still above freezing so not really sticking yet. Prediction is down to only about 3". Woohoo! Report
February 10, 201016 yr comment_324811 All we have here in W.Mass is a light dusting. It's just enough to make the trees look pretty. TWC says we'll get half an inch through 11PM. This is most odd. Report
February 10, 201016 yr Author comment_324820 We got virtually nothing here in northern Mass - at least I did get out of work early. Report
February 11, 201016 yr comment_324829 I've been calling it the "bubba zone" as in "Welcome to prison, here's your new cell mate, bubba" Report
February 11, 201016 yr comment_324842 We got about 8-10" I would guess maybe a bit more. Hard to judge since it was blowing around so much. This has officially fucked any chance I have of racing on sunday I would say. Well unless I get one of these: http://linc.zenfolio.com/p575337168/h26f57291#h26f57291 Report
