February 18, 201214 yr Congrats Chris! Learned today that my daughter got into Florida State University Law School which was her first choice. She also got into American University but it's 3 times the price and ranked 1 place lower than FSU. A very happy day for us!

February 18, 201214 yr Thanks guys! It's in the top ten law schools for environmental law which is her interest. Very proud and happy that she will be $45 in the hole when she graduates instead of $120,000 at American. Brent, I would kick your ass in Tampa except I will be too tired after 3 days of skiing.

February 18, 201214 yr She isn't really interested in practicing law. She is more interested in policy and hopes to work on the Hill after law school, at least to start. Of course, I wanted to be a Special Agent in the FBI when I graduated and instead I'm representing insurance companies.

February 18, 201214 yr Woke up at 3.30am and couldn't get back to sleep. FInally started to doze off around 6am when an alarm on iPod dock thingie in the nursery started going off - it appears one of our cats had stepped on it during the day. This obviously woke up my daughter. Finally got her back to sleeping now. We'll see how long she'll stay asleep. Damn cats.
February 18, 201214 yr Congrats to Mike's daughter! On wednesday took the wife out to dinner and a walk on the beach to celebrate our 20th anniversary!
February 18, 201214 yr Currently at work and will probably continue to be here for the next three days despite not being scheduled to work any of the three. The flip side is that it's $$, which is not a bad thing these days.
