^ Ain't that the truth! Nice move Al :)

Me: a week ago, took Tuesday off and played golf with a good friend at a nice course. We wound up getting 36 holes in with an 11:00 am start, beat the storms home that night (for the most part). Had some good beers on the course (some brought with); Revolution A Little Crazy and some Two Brothers Sidekick. Had a great time.

Good recovery, Al ... best wishes to Karyl.

This!

Went out last night for my mother-in-law's 86th birthday.  One of my wife's sisters and her family were there, the other couldn't make it.

My mother-in-law looks pretty damn good for 86!

MIL looks amazingly good, Todd.  Don't bring her to happy hour in SO FL bars - she would be overrun with overage hipsters with ponytails and claims they were at Woodstock.

Nice you were there for her.

Enjoyed some stunning views of a sunny San Francisco from a Brit friends Roof top terrace

 Looks like those red-marked areas in pic one could pass for bacon....

And that's a damn nice terrace view!!

There was no Bacon, but there were chocolate fingers. , which almost made up for the lack of Bacon. Almost.

Spent the morning setting up an xbox-360 with kinect for the man-cub. Peter is 10 today so of course we now have three game consoles in the house :palm:

Happy Birthday Peter! And I feel your pain, Jim. My 9-year-old kicks my butt at FIFA 14 with frankly contemptuous ease.

Happy birthday, Peter!

And agree, I can't beat my 9 year old son at any video games. :(

Happy Birthday, Peter!

As long as he can't kick your butt at drinking games, you're doing well.

10 is a magical age.  Happy birthcay Peter!

Interesting you mention that. The views were from the Roof Terrace of The Paramount. From there you can see other roof terraces that are supposed to be "Public Places". My friend mentioned that she has had words, on various occasions with officials who didn't understand the meaning of "Public Place" e.g. "you can't just go up there, you need an appointment with someone in the building",

The SPUR guide would make an interesting starting point  http://www.spur.org/sites/default/files/migrated/anchors/popos-guide.pdf
