skullguise Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 Good luck Haj! Me: Worked part of the day, played soccer dad to pick up my son today (wife is away on biz). Took him to the Allergist, he's had mild symptoms before but last Thursday had some kind of tougher reaction, though we're not sure of the exact cause. 2.5 hours, 142 dots on his back, 9 (!!!) tubes of blood, and 3 prescriptions later, we were free. He was a trooper, so I took him to a local Bertucci's restaurant and gave him his choice. MY entree was out, and I ended up not being as hungry as I thought I was, so i just passed on another entree. Well, waitress came over, said the manager said the WHOLE meal was free, and I should just get something to go. Lobster ravioli for lunch tomorrow! Nice.....but not the end. Visit to drugstore later, and even with insurance, almost $150 for the meds. So much for a free dinner.... Anyway, Andrew is doing well, and the meds should help clear up some sinus congestion and treat the allergy symptoms.
