Nechama and I will be going to Montreal in about a week because I have never been and thought it could be cool. Anyone have any advice on stuff that we absolutely must see or do? Anything we must *not* waste our time seeing or doing? So far my plans involve photography in the old city, and that's about it.

I notinced the weirdest thing tonight, I'd just been listening to something directly from the Gamma 1 DAC and the music ended and I was typing a message when I got a hum in one ear. It was coming in and out as the cat was passing over the wire. I called the cat back over and was able to get the phones to hum as I stroked or went near the cat! It's very odd, anyone else ever had this happen? PC > Gamma Dac > Yammy HP-1 > cat (himalayan) don't know if hum is species specific or not.

I'm not sure if Catcher has been made into a movie - yet. certainly, as an immensely popular work for near 6 decades there are those that would be chomping at the bit to do so. and since i can't find a more appropriate forum here goes: J.D. I'm considering converting my garage to a music/home theater. I am considering doing it with my brother in law. He is a pretty handy and with a good set of plans, should be able to do this with my limited assistance. I've been searching for plans online but I haven't been able to find actual plans and/or materials needed. I realize this will vary depending on size, etc. This brings me to my question. I went out to the mailbox today, and heard a little rustling in the bushes next to the house. Knew immediately, and visually verified it was Momma Rabbit, who is a regular in the hood. I see her out grazing every night, and it makes for a country feel in the middle of Dallas... along with the squirrels, hawks (that love squirrels and rabbits), and the occasional bobcat, who loves anything furry, including household pets. Well, I step into the bushes trying to get Momma to move along, but, I think the babies were close by, and, perhaps her burrow (or one of) is next to my house - haven't yet checked.
