Who Would Want to Meet These People?!

  1. Started by faust3d,

AXPONA 2011 June 24-25 in NYC This thing looks to be very big and interesting. No shows in NYC in the past few years so I am looking forward to this. Anyone from NY coming?

  2. Started by naamanf,

Anyone going? Might make last minute plans, need to see what I might carry in my maybe store.

  3. Would there be any interest in getting a meet up and running? Would be willing to travel to Columbus if easier for all. Seems like a lot of Ohio heads just waiting for a music party. This area seems to be taboo since the whole Mikey1 party got pissed on. Really would like to hear some serious rigs to know in what direction to continue my home hp project. So far I have a SP Platinum and 701s. I am wanting to listen to some sources & hps to find out my sound before spending $$$ for a decent component. I just need some folk to show off some primo gear.

They actually think this is a good idea. I don't think it is. Is it?

Detailed directions will be provided later in this post. Local retailers and popular manufacturers will be invited and all headphone enthusiasts are encouraged to attend. This is a no-charge event.

  9. Summer Atlanta Meet - July 5, 2008 (Loganville, GA) - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio I'm going to try to go if the wife feels up to keeping the kids. Coming from the greater chattavegas area. If anyone is on the way, and I can go, we could carpool or something. Otherwise its a few hours at speeds grossly exceeding the speed limit for me. Just a heads up for those who may have missed it. **BRENT**

Anyone up for a New England meet at my place (just outside Concord, NH)? I'm free any weekend in June. First priority to try and accommodate JBLoudG20 since he's bringing my amp. I guess we can go from there. I have quite a bit of gear, all the electrostat stuff listed in my sig.

The summer NorCal meet is set up for Saturday 6/28/2008 in San Mateo at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in the Iris room. The room is 1100 square feet and will hold 18 6 foot tables. This set up should hold up to 36 member rigs or less with vendor set ups. We have the room from 10am to 6pm we have power on all four walls but members will need to bring power strips to distribute power. I will be contacting the usual vendors to see if there is an interest in coming to our meet. Craig from Eddie Current has said he should be there with a new amp that he has been fine tuning since CanJam. Here is the Hotel information Hilton Garden Inn Hotel San Mateo California - San Mateo Ai…

Just realized that the biggest beer weekend in Florida is at the same time as that Axpona nonsense. Well, the stars should align and some people should pop in for a beerfest or two, and possibly a meet if we can stay sober long enough. Best Florida Beer Championships - Calendar of Events Will post more later.

I'm in the early stages of planning for a meet at my school, Rose-Hulman Inst. of Tech. in Terre Haute, Indiana. I've already posted this over on the 'Fi, but I thought it'd be a good idea to get some 'Casers there too! I'm still working on reserving a conference room, but I'd like to know if anyone here is interested, so I can gauge about how many people will show up.

For those of you who follow the other site, any reason I should spend a summer Saturday at Jude' s office or is there anyone worth meeting?

  23. Started by xand1x,

Had Colin (cetoole) over tonight because he was staying in Toronto for a few days. Had a blast at Turtle Jack's (best burgers in Canada bar none) and a good listening session at my place. I have no impressions because I have nothing new to say about my rig. Will post a few pictures and maybe Colin can chime in. Just want to say thanks Colin for showing up and hopefully the rain won't stop you from visiting again! Next time I promise a better stock of whisky too haha. I took Colin on a mini tour of house.. I figure I owe the rest of head-case the same courtesy: The Listening Area:

  24. This is aimed at jpizzle, and nate: Would one of you be willing to host a meet for the three of us, as suggested in another thread? The weekend that was looking the best, was that of August 11-12. Would we all be able to make it then?
