I just found out about this show, and caught up on Hulu recently. The story line is that it's 10 years later, and Mitch and Abby McDeere are recently out of the witness protection plan. Many of the characters are there, but played by different actors. All in all it's not bad. Josh Lucas (Mitch) has a Paul Newman thing that I like, and Julliette Lewis is not a bad choice to play the Holly Hunter character, Tammy. John Grisham has a hand in this, and interestingly enough, Helen Shaver is an Executive Producer and sometime Director here.

Too early to tell yet, but I'm interested. I like Ashley Judd.

This is the third season of this show, and I'm hooked big time! It's just so interesting to me. You get history and personal exploration, two of my favorite things. Tonight is Helen Hunt...off to watch.

This is a brilliant comedy and one of the best I can recall seeing. Unfortunately I don't think many people in the US have heard about it. The show stars David Cross, Will Arnett, Spike Jonez (and a couple of surprise celebrity appearances I won't ruin). It is based around David Cross who is a pathological liar and is sent to England for a temporary job assignment that goes horribly wrong. I really get off on this, I'll be watching a show and it'll hit me right in the face that an actor/actress I will remember from another show ~ usually it's the more low-key actors that really get me going. Anyone else get like this or do I have serious problems? So Dusty's post about Whedon's upcoming online musical reminded me that I'd yet to track down the trailer for Dollhouse. Anyone watch the pilot? On the plus side someone is finally using Jennifer Beals and the rest of the cast are interesting choices (and faces). On the negative it's from the creator of The Shield (characters are consistently constipated here too) and every fifth word of the script was 'Chicago' ('That's the Cha-cog-oh way!', 'And that's how we do things in Cha-cog-oh!', etc.). Strange mix between Scorsese-lite action and horrible TV dialogue.

Anyone else digging on this? I am NOT a fan of all the other Stagate incarnations but I am really liking this one. Robert Carlyle is pretty good in it.

Based on an Elmore Leonard character, Raylan Givens, played handily by Timothy Olyphant. Lots of guns, gals, good ol' boys, & drawls, to name a few of the Southern cliches that are unapologetically displayed in extremely charming fashion. Have to admit - Olyphant is charismatic as hell. Think I have a bit of a man-crush. Anyone else catching this new series on FX?

Just watched the first epispode of the new half hour Onion News Network show on IFC. Slightly different tone than I ever noticed on the website, as they've recast the network into something of an alternate universe where political correctness never happened and brutal honesty is the norm. Add in a mild dystopian vibe, such as the Network having access to cameras "watching over 80% of the world's population." Much more consistent writing than the video section of The Onion, every story in the pilot was hilarious.

When the fuck did V come back on? Last I remember, it was episode 6, and it wasn't due back until 2011, now apparently there are 12 episodes (I.E. 6 that I missed)?!?!? WTF? Also, I can't find the V thread.

Love this show, and season 3 has been excellent so far.

Anyone else watching this show? I am mostly enjoying it so far. Dark with enough violence to keep me interested. I am hoping it keeps heading in that direction and does not get soft to attract more viewers.

Unbelievable that NBC could screw up The Tonight Show transition so badly. If they wanted to get rid of Leno they should have gotten all the way rid of him. Having him at 10pm undermined Conan's chances for a successful start, left doubt hanging in the air, and completely flopped as a format because Leno sucks. Instead of flip-flopping after 6 years of planning to get rid of him, they should have let him go when it failed. Now, Conan is quitting and the stupid-ass hack Leno is back at 11:30. Watch the entire 1st season.....like the storyline. For those who have watched, WTF this Jemma getting a paid sex ? Such a pretty woman ?? I know the end that she wanted to hurt somebody......but with her looks she wouldve no problem doing it. HBO, get a better cast next time.......

New series on A&E. Caught the premier two episodes of this last night, though I think it is slotted for Sunday nights. Seems promising; I am going to target watching this. Rubicon - AMC

I finally started watching BSG two weeks ago and I just finished watching the end of season 3 over the weekend. It's a damn amazing show I can't wait for season 4 to start in February.

I just finished watching the first episode of the 3rd season and I have to say this show has slowly become one of my favorites on TV these days. I wasn't sure quite what to make of it in the first season but it just keeps getting better and better, hopefully they can keep that up.
