On our last night in England, went for a country walk with one of Joanne's Brothers Ending at a country pub where Joanne's other Brother joined us For food and drinks

So the YouTubes went down for an hour or so yesterday and I missed the whole thing. I redid my upstairs audio setup a month or so ago and I haven't done any critical listening with it. Naturally I queued up a couple Biosphere albums. Substrata (1997, but this is the 2017 web release). Cirque (2000 version, I don't have the web re-issue yet.) The former is arguably the greatest ambient album in the world, and the latter is no slouch. Cirque is really, really good. Substrata is ...transcendent. It's unlike anything before or after it. I'm actually not huge on 2002's Shenzhou. It's full of weird classical music samples that get old quickly. That said, iTunes played it next and I bothered to listen to the whole thing. I'll say this, the not-annoying parts of the album are actually quite good and require some effort on the part of the listener to be appreciated. That's not really surprising, given the artist in question.

The 323 had a p-channel jfet as the input, +/-350v power supplies, 2sa1968 as the current source for the drivers etc. The 353 is a srm717 with all of the extra transistors removed. Very similar to kgss. D50 is identical to 353 running at slightly lower power and lower voltage. Current source is resistors on both. T8000 also uses resistors for the current source. seems that stax has run out of 2sa1968. d10 uses apex opamps with a power supply of +/-175, not great for large voltage swings. stax may be forced into using parts in the future that it does not want to use for some reason.

Antonio, before you start a clean install, be sure you have a bootable backup of your hard drive. If you use Google, be sure that all your passwords and info have been sync'd to you account. The same goes for iCloud. You'll be erasing all your Preferences so you might take a little time and write down the settings for your email , Network and Mac accounts (in Preferences and Mail client). I make a list (or screenshot) of my Applications folder and any passwords/activation codes you'll need to get them running. BTW, have you installed an SSD or do you have the stock HD? If it's an SSD there's an extra step in installing HS (new file system). Anyway, here are the instructions on doing a clean install. You'll need a USB thumb drive at least 8G to "create" an installer. https://blog.macsales.com/42502-tech-101-how-to-perform-a-clean-install-of-macos-high-sierra If you've never used Terminal, you're going to just be copying and pasting so don't sweat it. If the commands in Terminal seem to be taking forever (over a couple of minutes) you might need to hit "enter". If you open High Sierra and there's a bunch of stuff missing, you have it on your back up. Just open the backup in another Finder window and drag and drop your Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies to the new folder on your MBP. All this is kind of a pain the ass but in the end, it should be like having a new machine. Feel free to PM me with questions.

We came to vet. Fluffy needs shots and şirin got a wound on her cheek. Wish us luck... Update: Şirin got 2 stiches. Got tranquilised now. Outside is forbidden for her and have to wear this shit for 1 month. Fluffy is fine. Got mixed shot and passport.

God bless ya...LOL! My old car was a bit heavier with all the safety equipment and had a serious motor and twin turbos. Ran 8's with the incorrect gearing (it was wired for the standing mile). This bone stock Demon with way too much fancy stuff like Scandinavian leather runs 10's. Supercharged car but about half the power at the rear wheel...maybe 60%. Won't ever see 8's unless I decide to do bad things to something too pretty. 7's with a chassis this heavy would mean gutting the car hard and then going serious power. HS

I was on Sierra for a couple of years (just finishing up a clean install of High Sierra now). I found it to be pretty snappy and probably the best (for audio apps at least) since Snow Leo. If you're running a DAW (I don't know about video editors), it's a good idea to do a clean install every now and then. Things get sluggish after a while and just upgrading the os drags all the crap into the new system files and preferences. I do when I upgrade to a new named OSX. So far, I'm finding High Sierra to be about the same as Sierra (speed wise). I did this upgrade mostly to transition to the new file system and also the word is that the latest version of Pro Tools and Logic Pro X both love being High.
