  4. I think it's a good show. I don't mind the cliffhangers. At least I don't have to wait 6 months to find out who shot J.R..

  5. Hacks. Jean Smart is on fire right now, with two series currently running. She's great in Mare of Easttown, and after just watching episode #1of Hacks, I'm all in. Having lived and worked in Vegas (OK, back when Robert Urich played Dan Tanna and Lou Ferrigno played the Hulk), I'm enjoying the "Vegas" lifestyle humor even more. Absolutely worth a watch.

  11. To my thinking, It's looking like John Ross killed her, but Guy Pierce's character seems very suspect as to something.

  12. Anyone else watching Mare? I’m caught up with it but I’m not sure if it is a good show or just addictive with the darn cliffhangers and the whodunit?

  14. I'm not too big on anti-vandal switches. Always wanted to find that elusive black anodized + orange LED latching, but they're always out of stock. Recently used this switch in a build to great effect. Offset prints for the effin lose.

  17. Thanks everyone! You'll be happy to know I've started out this decade sans biscuit (so far,) I worked 11 hours starting at bedtime (4am,) had an amazing dinner of homemade chili cheese fries by Zoe (our last birthday together before she's off to school,) and had a nice, relaxing day at home otherwise. Oh yeah, and I hit a milestone for play time in a game I play from time to time... Now to see how the rest of this decade plays out.

  24. Giri/Haji ( 義理/恥) "Smart, suspenseful, and superbly shot, Giri/Haji is a near-perfect crime thriller with a surprisingly sharp sense of humor." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giri/Haji Because: We'd just finished Line Of Duty S6 (which is now available on Britbox) which is well worth a watch When Youtube suggested this interview ... Which got me intrigued in Giri/Haji, so we watched it. I'm very glad we did. Check out the comments on the YouTube trailer to see the impression it made on other people. Well worth your time to watch (IMHO).

  26. I see Justin filing suit right about now. Calling Al... I don't know about Nahmen but when I lived there I heard it so many times on the radio, in the malls, on the beach, I would zone out after the first few notes and regain conscience in a souvenir shop.

  29. RIP the 21 who died of hypothermia while competing in a 100km (60 miles) mountain marathon in China. 172 went missing and after a massive mountain rescue effort the majority were found and got off the hill. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-57216601 In the UK, a route like that has to have marshals at intervals, and you are required to carry weatherproofs, a route map and a compass.

  30. Another week of loss in music and acting. RIP to some greats. Trombonist Curtis Fuller. I'm going to have to spin some Curtis this week. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/05/14/arts/music/curtis-fuller-dead.amp.html Pervis Staples of the Staples Singers. Not particularly into the music but a great legacy nonetheless. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/05/14/arts/music/pervis-staples-dead.amp.html Actor Norman Lloyd at 106! I think of him from St. Elsewhere but did not know the depth or the incredible duration of his 70+ year Hollywood career or his amazing list of colleagues and associates. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/05/11/movies/norman-lloyd-dead.amp.html And don't forget Witchiepoo! HR Pufnstuf actress Billie Hayes. She was scary and creepy in a lovable way when I was a kid. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/05/13/arts/television/billie-hayes-witchiepoo-dead.amp.html
