May 23, 20179 yr Oh no....two greats. RIP, Mssrs Hayden and Moore. And most definitely heartfelt thoughts to the victims of the concert. FUBAR. HS
May 23, 20179 yr Who can possibly forget the the secret keypad that needed five numbers, and which played the tune from Close Encounters? No Bond before or since has been played for laughs the way Moore did.
May 23, 20179 yr RIP Roger and all those folks who died in Manchester last night! Too horrible for words.
May 23, 20179 yr RIP Roger. I agree with Craig, the dry humor he was able to show was great in combination with the typical Bond class and style.
May 23, 20179 yr Well I think we can all agree he can fuck off out of this thread. RIP Roger Moore. Best arched eyebrow in the business.
May 23, 20179 yr RIP Nicky Haydn. 17 hours ago, n_maher said: Also hits close to home for someone who spends a lot of time on two wheels. Yes, we tend to forget how dangerous it is to ride two-wheeled vehicles, both pedaled and motorized. Also RIP Roger Moore and the Manchester victims.
May 23, 20179 yr RIP Mr Bond... Ed - and just read up on Manchester - very sad - and very sad there are sad fucks like that in the world - rip to the innocents Edited May 23, 20179 yr by mikeymad
May 24, 20179 yr RIP to Mr. Moore. Back in the day when TBS would do 7 days of 007 I would tape every one they showed and watch them until the next marathon. RIP to the victims of the Manchester bombing. Sadness beyond words.
May 24, 20179 yr RIP James Bond/Simon Templar/etc. Roger Moore was the first Bond I remember from childhood / teen years. The Saint was another favorite back then. Agree with Stretch that the cunt in the bomb vest gets nothing but disgust and is not worthy of naming. RIP to the victims and families of this utterly senseless act.
May 24, 20179 yr Lots of news on the radio about Roger Moore. He was always self deprecating about his abilities - along the lines of "I was lucky. I'm not the best actor, but was lucky enough to be good looking, and got spotted by Hollywood, and so got the romantic movie roles". Always came across as a nice guy, and really not the usual luvvie thesp.
May 27, 20179 yr RIP Gregg Allman.http://www.stereogum.com/1943442/gregg-allman-dies-at-69/obit/ **BRENT**
