He was chaperoning a Scout trip with some other parents, and they hit rough waters on the Dead River in Maine. Raft apparently flipped, everyone rescued but him, couldn't be revived with CPR.... Two kids, I think teen/pre-teen....so fucking sad..... It's been many years since I saw him, only e-chats; we had him to our house with another friend & family when he just had one child.
