Saw a Major off on his first deployment in style and destroyed a final report. Then went home early.

Very methodically explained to a coworker why everyone is fucking retarded.

Found out that the grant I applied to last fall is being recommended for an award!!!  Woo hoo!!! This doesn't make it official, but is very very good news.  Too bad I don't have time to celebrate.

Prepped my car for a long, long drive in couple of days.  I really hate installing/uninstalling car seats.

E-Filed taxes. And had Federal and State Returns Accepted.  No Refund. No Payment. No HD-800's

The concert last night was great. We missed the first band (helsott), and an unexpected highlight was Trollfest - seven-piece brutal dissonant metal with saxophone and accordion. Tyr were better than I remembered, ensiferum possessed the same goodness as ever, and Heidevolk were amazing, as I expected.

We'll be crossing into North Dakota in 20 minutes. Looking forward to the same show tonight.
