So, on the day that my damaged transport is picked up (yesterday) I find out that UPS has decided to play kick-ball with the beta22 that I shipped out last week. Now today I hear back about the damage claim to the transport, which of course they denied sighting "insufficient packaging" and "no damage to packaging". Oh, sweet. I guess that custom cut 2" thick foam inserts and double boxing are now deemed insufficient packaging in their mind. And the entire corner of the box crushed 1" (through both boxes) qualifies as "no damage". I hope the guy who sold this to me is a good lawyer... Now, onto the beta22 that I had professional packed. Evidently they managed to treat t…

Have a fantastic birthday and party like the movie star you are. Just party smart and don't let this be you on your big day: Have a great one buddy!

Just curious if anyone has put serious thought into it.

Unfortunately, it was people with attitudes like that which got us the idiot we've had now for 7 years. Don't misunderstand, I know what you are saying but at least there are two candidates that will do things a bit differently than they've been done for the last 7 years. Again, not perfect but certainly an improvement. Sorry, I didn't mean to jump on you like that but I hate when I hear people talk like this because if something doesn't change, things will be even worse than they are now, especially if a Republican gets to appoint more Justices to the Supreme Court.

a dramatised version of Terry Pratchett's Night Watch is being broadcast in episodes on radio4 http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/nightwatch/pip/psvvz/ the first episode should be up on the web for the next 6 days.

We have a "post the last thing you bought" thread but nothing like this! I'll start. CDs!

So while lying on my bed, I hear a mention of "musicdirec.com" from a TV. I turn around and there it is - musicdirect.com/American Express ad. I think it was the first time I've ever heard the word "audiophile" mentioned in a TV ad. Anyone else catch this?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wppjYDj9JUc]YouTube - Iraqi TV Debate: Is the Earth Flat?[/ame] This and the Saudi witch trial have lead me to believe that Islamic fundamentalists have yet to make it to, say, the 18th century.

Some older customers of mine last night was calling everyone and everything under the sun a "Jagbag". never heard of it before but it's this weeks new term... so with my heart open to all of headcase, your all just a bunch of Jagbag's

Well, if you haven't it sucks. I spent the last day and half in a hospital due to a severe case of it. I got discharged today and it is a whole lot better but not 100% yet. At least the scans of my brain showed nothing unusual, so they think it's just something viral.

Did any of you guys use this site before? I cant really tell if this site is legit or not

Happy Birthday to you! Hope it's a good one.

Now we understand why Boomana wanted to get Grawk as a bodyguard!

Wotcha mates ! I have just quit (that place that dare not speak its name) due to apalling censorship by mods. Here is a gratuitous picture of my dogs

I use my phone a lot for internet. Opera Mini does a great job at formatting almost all pages and makes it breeze to use. However, it has trouble with HC. HF formats just fine, but i think its because of different forum software. Would it be possible to make thi wonderful place more mobile friendly?

Happy Birthday!

Basically, the oldest/most famous Japanese rock band X Japan (or X) that has ever existed had reunited on 10/22/07. The leader of the band has organized it so that overseas fans can buy a "package" with the plane ticket, hotel booked, everything set, or enter a lottery where random selected winners will be allowed to buy tickets. I've been listening to these guys for a long time and this is a perfect oppotunity since it is during Spring Break. When I started to register the form... I am talking about a band performing in Tokyo Dome 3 days in a row.. with 50,000 fans per day and a great deal. All I need to pay is around $1500USD for a package with a booked hotel, round…

Is it just me or is this cereal king of them all? I mean, nothing hits the spot at 2am like an XL bowl of cornflakes (not that frosted kind either). I'm pretty serious about cereal and honestly nothing out there has been able to surpass the simple, yet complex, taste of a bowl of cornflakes done properly.

This has got to be the best picture ever... might be a little large for an emoticon, but I say we go for it.

First off, this isn't a sour-grapes thing - I'm married. Valentine's day is a completely moronic "special" day. Isn't love supposed to be sincere, spontaneous, and distinctly expressed between the couple in love? How do $60 roses and a contrived card really express any kind of true feelings? Anyway, maybe I'm really just annoyed because I have to stop at the drugstore on the way home to buy a card.
