It hurts so much, doesn't it Haj? I think it is worse for parents because the kids heal so fast and forget even faster.

and ^^ This

I determined once and for all that I'll never lend anyone a car again, ever. Nothing good ever comes out of the experience. Last 4 times I've done so has resulted in one problem or another. This time my turn signal stalk is no longer returning to the off position after I straighten the wheel back out. Doesn't matter if I'm turning left or right.

Sorry about your daughter Salty! Hope she heals fast!

And sorry for your car lending experiences Wayne!

Me: took off a couple hours early from work and rode 21 miles in 1:27, so about 14.5mph. Better, still sucks. Beautiful day out!

Haj, it indeed breaks our hearts as parents when we see kids hurt or in pain. I wish her well, and even if she may look bad, I'm sure she'll be acting as if it never happened soon enough. Kids seem to be amazing like that.....

I submitted a paper; my magnum opus. Two and a half years of blood, sweat, tears, and LOTS of cursing. Fingers crossed!

Tonight, I pack for a conference in San Francisco. Life might not be so bad after all...... :)

This.

Agree with everyone - whenever my kids get hurt, it really hurts me something awful. Hope she feels better soon.

I will be at one tomorrow.

go yellow team!

You root for the refs? Obviously you are not British.

Don't soccer fields usually have nets on each end?
