Congrats mates!!!! finally good news :)

Dinny, your honey badger comment made me lol. Funny thing

Congrats Knuckles and Mike. Very cool about your son. I know you were waiting on this news.

What she said!

Congrats all around as well!

And sorry about the car door, that sucks

Did our taxes and we're getting a mad refund. Sort of retarded how low the final effective tax rate is.

Getting ready to take the Little Monkey to the "Gifted and Talented" test for NYC public schools. Otherwise known as the G&T. I would like a G&T when I arrive at the test center.

Good luck with both !

Thanks. I can't tell you how happy we are. It's not Ivy League but it's pretty darn difficult to get in these days so we are proud of him.

Knuckles, congrats on the job!

Dinny, good luck to the little monkey!

After finally wrapping my mind around the basic architecture and opcodes of the PIC18F4550 I'm plunging straight into the ARM7 LPC2148. Writing directly into program memory and fooling with the program counter and stack pointer and whatnot is fun and all except when shit doesn't work.

Congrats to your son Mike, that is a great accomplishment.

Good luck to you and your son Dinny on your respective G&Ts.

Congrats to Mike and Knuckles and good luck to your son Dinny!

Congrats all around. This should be the "hey isn't this accomplishment cool" thread. Go team!

As for me: Java homework.

Monkey -- congrats on having a kid that's smart enough to even seriously consider the G&T. That in itself is its own reward.

No, actually, that's fun, too. Eventually.

Really great to see a bunch of nice things, my congrats to all as well.

I celebrated my last day at my current job (yesterday) by making homemade pancakes with my son this morning. HIS recipe :) I just substitued wheat flour instead of bleached white.

Tonight, my wife takes ME out to celebrate! Where to go, where to go.......

Enjoy your celebrating wherever you are!

I went to spinning class this morning, then spent the rest of the day cleaning, even moving all the furniture around and mopping. Sitting back now, it doesn't look like I've done a thing. Oh well. :(

is fun and all except when shit doesn't work.

sounds like life :)

With all the good news above there should be a PARTY! :D
