yay boomy!

I'm currently copying a bunch of data off a harddrive best buy's geek squad told my dad was destroyed, and needed to be sent off for data recovery. I put it in a usb case, plugged it in my mac, mounted it, and just set the data copying. No recovery needed.

Great stuff Vicki....best wishes to your dad.

Done the same data recovery, too, even done the old scan the drive that was stupidly re-formatted.....

Me tonight: went to see The Fools, old Boston-area band, at a nice outdoor venue in Ipswich, MA. Couldn't actually SEE the band for most of it; the lawn in front of them curved downward! But caught glimpses, and got to remember a bunch of songs. Last time I saw them: 1985!!

Glad to hear your dad's surgery went well. The fact he is "... cursing out ..." is a very good sign he is doing GREAT!

Good news Vicki. I'm familiar with your situation as Mom had her second knee done at 89, I believe. She just turned 92 last weekend and the knees are holding up well.

Glad to hear it Vicki!

Good news about your dad Vicki!

Awesome news Vicki! I hope your dad is up and around and cursing the Tigers' management for years to come!

Sorry about your mom being in the hospital, Dusty. Wishing her well.

suck dusty, anything I can do to help?
No, nothing anyone needs to do. My ma has some really good friends, one of whom is a nurse and is actually bedside making sure the doctors are doing the best they can.

Thanks for the well wishes, all. That is appreciated.
