I think I hit something in a puddle. Changing a tire in the rain is not fun. One of the 5 lugs securing the wheel snapped off when I was removing the flat so had to drop her at the mechanic for them to fix.

Oh well. Shit happens.

^^ Bummer.  I had a partially stripped nut on one of the BMW's wheels that almost left me a bad spot when I was changing over the snow setup.  I've since inspected all of the nuts to make sure they're in good order but ugh, if that happened on the side of the road I imagine my reaction would be not good.

Got a pair of Hifiman he560

Excellent headphones.  I had one slight problem with them as the highs are a little forward or bright (hopefully they settle down).  You'll definitely need an amp though.

I came very close to trading in the Tiguan. Look at that color!

Don't you like it? Maybe the pic doesn't show the real tone. I'd trade a SUV for almost whatever, so figure a GTI :D

Do not like SUV?

I would not change my wife's X5 for anything ... well, for my ML

Nope. They're the example of everything that is wrong with this society.

I can understand that it is not an ideal car to just go and look for children at school but living in a place like the one I live ...

I actually like my Tiguan a lot, but I miss the GTI.  Same motor in the Tiguan as what my Mk VI had, though.

yeah we have better light here in the garden area. working out what to start planting next month.

Wow Mikey!

A great example of something we've evolved the taste clean out of.

I highly recommend truffles.

Well I killed my dirt bike this morning so out goes the UTV. Been a lot rain in the mountains on my side of the valley. I'll pull the power washer out after hitting the trails again tomorrow. Was really wishing I spent the few dollars to refill my tear-offs.

The wife was too sick to come out today. She was totally passed out on the couch when I went out. Probably for the best, she doesn't really appreciate mudding.

I did manage to get the dirt bike going again. The temperature this week has been just ideal for the bike.

We have record breaking cold today! It's like a high of -20 lol - they cancelled my school and kids school today and TOMORROW preemptively with an announcement Tuesday afternoon - the last time we had cold like this was 5 years ago and not even then did they cancel two days of school ahead of time.

Woke up today with the furnace working but blowing no heat :( had to restart pilot light, turn off and restart furnace, but was getting an error code that the intake/outtake pipes outside may be clogged.  Fuck - bundled up and told the kids if I don;t get back inside within 10 minutes to send for help.  intake into the furnace from outside was clogged with snow, so unclogged it and we are back in action.  House has warmed up to 58 from the 50 it was this morning lol.  Have the fireplace going and starting up the oven for lunch.

Condolences from my ice box to yours.  Our temp this am was -2F.  We have warmed to 0F.  Current windchill -28F.

Glad it was just a clogged intake.  Easy fix :).
