So Kedi is being shown at the Chattanooga Film Festival this year... I'm tempted to check it (and a lot of other stuff out. https://chattfilmfest.org/collections/films **BRENT**3 points

I've updated the mini board to use the TDK 4CP601. Here's the gerber files zipped up. Just rename the .pdf file back to .zip to open it. SuperSymmetryDynalo-TDK-v1-5.pdf I'll send it to Kevin to publish as well.3 points

We settled for $1500 for the diminished value claim. I'm pleased and will likely roll that into the OZ Ultraleggera super light autocross wheels. Edit: it appears that Enkei has just released even superlighter wheels that are cheaper. 15.8 lbs.2 points

I had to search for it, since I didn't recall the specifics of the mechanism. The Wikipedia article seems well documented and more or less confirms your statement. Maybe is not as much a matter of the number of receptors as about their shape and affinity for the virus. I think your 100% top preference has been a determining factor for you weren't exposing potential skin or mucous wounds to the fluids carrying the viruses from your partner. It's possible you can get a blood test to know if you are a carrier of the CCR5-Δ32 mutation on your T-cells. These tests are much cheaper now.1 point

Happy birthday! (party favour noise) Still not sure why you had to do a frame-by-frame remake of Psycho...1 point

My Iron felt like the life was getting sucked out of it towards the end battling with the ground plane... I need to sort out how best to attach the heatsinks for the output transistors, a nice non conductive thermal tape of sorts, double sided... for the hopeful. Otherwise my first mini dynalo is working... although I have no dynamic phones to verify. For the chassis I’m going for modushop 40mm side flanges, other panels will be 2mm thick from FPE, black anodised I’m thinking. Amazing job Kerry thank you so much for the mini design.1 point

folks, gr lv dual version is right here I've thrown all my extra dough on this build (including the dough for updating my old-granny-level-pc. been saved for a very very long time), so it better be good. Alth, I always fear that, my $1,350 is gonna get into smoke, and boom, boom, boom pray for myself1 point

Finally have my baby back from her trip to Connecticut after nearly two months of being without her. Oh man, she sounds great. Thanks, Doug!1 point

the noise spikes are 120hz (100hz for you) and due completely to the switching noise of the input diodes. every power supply, even tube rectified ones do this. The idea is to remove the spike noise, and its not easy. caps across the diodes, etc, just does not work. and by the way, so far, I can't even get close to these numbers with a shunt regulated supply, the noise rips right thru the main current source. 7815 is rated at 90 microvolts of noise (ti datasheet). which is great except that in the typical configuration the diode noise rips right thru, and is usually in the millivolt range. and the voltage stability is +/-4% over commercial temperature range. plus line and load regulation. S22, same thing, the capacitance multiplier at the input is useless. Some companies in the stupidly overpriced 3 terminal replacement business call this a gyrator. Nope, not a gyrator. yes it can regulate at 3V, but you don't want to do that. What you might want to do is use that voltage to calculate line voltage -15% for the absolute minimum voltage. Then make sure all the components are rated for line voltage +15% its all about heat in the pass transistors. if you want to go down to 8 volts, you have to change the series zener to 4.7v that zener is there to make sure the thing starts up under load. and change the reference to 5v here is the original design that was modified by ucc, then modified by me. http://waltjung.org/PDFs/Improved_PN_Regs.pdf1 point
