HC is contagious!  Lance has a very bad cold and is on mega doses of steroids to mitigate the wheezing.  He may miss this Sunday's tournament in AZ as a result, Dr. will make the call on Friday, bummer.

Other son has kidney stones, for a 16 year old this is very unusual.   Daughter in Ireland has a bad head cold and is on Irish meds, wife has raging hormones and I am getting old.

Get well all you other kids of HCers.

Discovered that Amazon Echo knows the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything.

Events #46-48 today, with 43 to go, 19 of which are for multiple hours.  Still a wee bit of room on the schedule, but not much.  As Warren Zevon once sang, "I'll sleep when I'm dead."

That's a whole lot of Santa events. Good luck being jolly after 60 or so.

Greg,

Ouch/Fuck Me regarding kidney stones.  My BIL has had them 3 or 4 times now and I just can't imagine it, having lived through them once myself.

Here's to hoping the other two recover quickly.

Keep on keepin' on, Santa.

What Nate said, Greg! Must have missed this last night given the page turn. I hope everyone is on the mend quickly, and your son's stones pass smoothly. Ouch again!

My ass had an encounter with something in length that would make Tice blush. Fortunately I don't remember any of it, so there is that. I don't get to see the Dr until next year, seems anti-climatic a bit m.

Wow,..

Hope the next page is "everybody heals"!

It's all downhill from here Santa! (or I hope it is)

And where the hell is Tice!

In ER. Severe head-on car crash. Two broken legs both of us. Need transport and surgery. Pray for us please!

Edit - can post between pain meds. Pickup crossed the center median at 60-70mph due to ice, hit us driving 60-70 mph. We had no ice but daughter hit brakes didn't swerve. Head on into pickup with high closing speed. Needed jaws of life to cut me out, remove door and b pillar. My Left femur and fibula broke. Right patella ripped in half (dashboard is almost on the front seat, hard to breath due to seatbelt bruises. Mild head injury and a few lacerations car crushed in). She broke both ankles with open fracture on right.

Wow, just Wow. Good thoughts for the best medical outcome

Holy shit!  Thankfully you are alive and hoping for less dramatic recovery. Damn!

Just seen edited details. Effective closing speed of ~100-140 mph is a lot of KE that has to go somewhere. Thank the design engineers for what could have been a far worse outcome. Coulda / Shoulda / woulda - you're posting here which is a positive given the circumstances. Heal well. Any news on the other vehicle and it's occupants? Only if it's easy for you. Understand if you are told to rest and avoid posting.

Sounds really bad Larry.  Heal quickly and heal well.

x2. Very lucky to make it out of that... Get well, Larry. Best wishes.

The other guy slid sideways and was crossing our lane and we hit his passenger side. He rolled multiple times and walked away with bruises and went to ER in a neck brace. No idea his status due to HIPPA.

This is so fucked up. My daughter is not quite as bad off. My ribs severely bruised and dislocated. Hard to breath. I'll need surgery both legs. She on one leg. About to be transported to Denver.

Jesus Christ, Larry.  The shit just keeps piling up for you.  Just keep the spirits up and know that this will be one hell of a story to tell someday.  Best of luck and here's to a speedy recovery.

Larry, wishing that you and your daughter get through this ok.

Damn, Larry. That sucks. Hope the meds are treating you well and the doctors treating you even better. Good luck to you and your daughter.

**BRENT**

Wow Larry that is horrible. I am wishing you both the best positive outcome and recovery. Damn..

Damn, man!

Hang in there!

Damn, Larry.  Hoping for speedy recovery for both you and your daughter.
