Coming up on the one-week anniversary of the greatest crash since '29 , it seems that many might enjoy a little speculation on long long the rebuilding process might take. Notice the question pertains to when the site might be working again, as normal or prior to the crash (if possible). I'm really not quite sure myself. I was surprised that problems have persisted as long as the have, until I read about the nitty-gritty going on in serverland, which made me understand the magnitude of the problem.

Okay Kansas seems to have a pretty diverse collection of bugs. I almost feeling like I am living in the south with the high temps and humidity. Well today I saw this bug while pumping gas and I don't think I will ever be able to sleep the same. It would have been okay if it was an average size bug but this monster was about five inches long. No idea what it is but I hope I never see one again. Sleep tight.

Please hold until you hear from me again. ---- Until yesterday afternoon, I was doing a 5 day dual sport motorcycle ride. Unfortunately I had a big crash on a dirt road. I'm basically OK but almost certainly have broken ribs and am in no shape to continue riding. The crash was at the end of the day and I was able to make it to here, which was where we were planning to stay the night. This is in the middle of nowhere just south of Death Valley. Okay, this thread is only half serious as the topic is stupid, but I'm also curious what others think. jp11801 and I were talking last night about my recent gear purging, and I told him I was going Team Minimal. In my opinion, having one main dynamic headphone, one main electostatic headphone, and one main portable headphone with accompanying rigs qualifies me. He claims that's too many, and my choices in each category eliminate me entirely. He also suggested we open up our disagreement to the peanut gallery (I guess that's you), so here it is.
