Still trying to make it to NYC. 8:20 AM flight tried to take off at 9:30, after much negotiation due to over sold seats, only to slam on the brakes half way through take-off. Back to the terminal to sit for an hour before they found another plane to put us on but now NY is on Ground Hold meaning no one can take off until 12:30 at the earliest.

I should have driven.

It is just a little rain.

I have been deplaned again.

Getting on the plane for the third time today to take this 45 minute flight to NYC.

What should the equivalent Door-to-Door time have been by ...... Train?

I could have driven there and arrived 11am. Flying is closer to 4:30 now.

Bummer Jeff!

Nothing worse than airport Purgatory!

Kinda reminds me of what a brilliant idea Albert Brooks had in "Defending Your Life" where he was waiting to get into heaven/hell.

Great pics Dan!

Love the "blow by blow" of your trip.

At least he doesn't have Shirley McClain droning on in the Past Lives Pavilion. :)

Jeez Jeff, that is the sucks.   Why not take the train, Acela isn't too bad.

Work up at 4, passed a PT test at 5, went to work, essentially got ordered by my Lt Col to take 2 comp days for working the past two weekends, still worked a 10+ hour day, came home to a 6-day weekend and cold beer.

I'd say it's a good day.

^^^ Nice.

Me - apparently just passed a kidney stone. It was...not pleasant, but far less painful than having it in my kidney. I've been feeling pretty marginal for the last 5 days or so and wonder if this wasn't at least part of the cause.

Hope you're feeling a little better now Nate.

Here's to 6 day weekends, cold beer, and stones exiting one's body.

Nice going, Adrian and Nate.

Huzzah!

Great news, Nate. it was about time! Now be careful not to grow more of those.

Can't imagine the experience but glad the stone has left the house.

Glad that experience is over for you Nate. Hope you don't have do go thru that again.
