I walked past the Seed Lady's Mecca.

Took my sisters to see Grand Budapest Hotel for the one's birthday.  It was the older one's birthday, and her first Wes Anderson, and she's been hyped on seeing it for weeks, and she enjoyed it every bit as much as she'd hoped to.  Good times.

Was out boating in Santa Barbara and ran into Gene with his latest ride

Short story...Mom is starting to have some medical issues, and I need to be close to her. Going to try having a better attitude about Texas this go 'round.

Ken, the SB boating trip was a family with kids and no booze Easter outing. You can be sure when there is a adult SB trip you will be getting a ringy dingy.

Came back home today from a mini vacation. Before we left for the mini vacation, I re-caulked our bathtub, which I had done couple times in the past with success.  Well, I did something wrong this time around so I get to fix that first thing tomorrow.  Argh.

Woke up well rested and looking forward to the weekend.  Fired up the coffee grinder and the day promptly went to shit.

 

 

If you look closely you'll see a rock jammed in grinding mechanism.  Despite the grinder saying that it has ways of dealing with this to avoid burning up the motor it was incapable of saving itself.  I got the rock out and fired it back up (pun fully intended) and poof, magic smoke.  Fudge.

How did a rock get in the grinder?  I hope it wasn't in the coffee beans.

 

Hope the weekend gets better.
