May 17, 201610 yr comment_730331 Fuck! Guy Clark was an icon among singer/songwriters. Desperados Waiting for a Train paints a hell of a picture, and always reminds me of my Grandfather. RIP Guy! Edited May 17, 201610 yr by swt61 Report
May 17, 201610 yr comment_730333 Condolences, Todd. And fuck, Guy Clark... I saw him a long time ago, trading songs at the Telluride Bluegrass Fest with Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Emmylou Harris, and Steve Earle. It was probably the best singer-songwriter experience of my life. Report

May 18, 201610 yr comment_730397 So I just got word that my friend Sam at work died at a conference in Orlando over the night. I've known him about 3 years, starting with my first Tour de Cure here. I just talked to him last week; he'd been training to do the half Ironman in Chattanooga this weekend, after doing his first one last year. He leaves behind a daughter who just graduated college and a wife. He was early-mid 40s. I found out about half an hour ago, and still in shock. Fuck this year. **BRENT** Edited May 18, 201610 yr by MexicanDragon Report
